Located in the bustling and emergent River North Art District just north of Downtown Denver, the Industry Denver building, with its “shared workspace” office approach encompassing roughly 80,000 square feet of leasable space, contacted ILC to provide the civil engineering for a building addition. Improvements consist of a five story precast concrete building with the first two floors containing an additional 30,000 square feet of office space, and the remaining floors providing the necessary parking for the entire development.
This project features a joint effort with ILC and Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) in the design of a pilot project for stormwater detention and water quality utilizing a custom Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement (PICP) system. This facility will be used as a monitoring site by UDFCD to test the efficiency of the system for widespread use.
